The Kirstenbosch Craft Market takes place on the last Sunday of the month from 09h00 to 15h00, except for the months of June, July and August when it is closed for the winter. In December the market takes place on two Sundays before Christmas.

The Craft Market is held in the grounds of the Kirstenbosch Stone Cottages on the corner Kirstenbosch Drive and Rhodes Avenue, diagonally opposite the main entrance to Kirstenbosch Gardens.

Entrance is free.

The market hosts approximately 180 crafters who sell original, hand-crafted goods of a very high quality. A large variety of refreshments are available and pony rides are very popular with children. Proceeds from stall rentals go to the Development Fund for Kirstenbosch Gardens.
